Consciousness and quantum physics.
What is the real nature of reality? This is one of the questions that mankind asked for millennia. Science tells us that the root of our perceived reality, the micro-world of quanta, obeys to laws that are very different from those of the macro-world. It is very important, if we want to have a clear understanding of our world and if we want to fulfill our full potential in our everyday life, that we are aware of the information provided by quantum physic bended, in my opinion, with a greater paradigm, the cosmic one. The first thing to be aware of is that everything is energy. The money we spend, the food we eat, the words we say, the thoughts we have, our emotions (energy in motion). Our body. You!
The best way to describe what is energy is "vibrating information in the form of possibilities". The famous Einstein's equation, E=mc^2, tells us that matter is energy. We live in an illusory world, think about that. What exists right now around you, the screen you are looking at, the trees out of the window are not solid at all. They are something shapeless and vibrant. The first law of thermodynamic says that energy can not be created or destroyed only transformed. "Spiritual being", "soul", "light being" are just words used to describe the fact that we are made of energy. Therefore we do not obey to the the laws of the macro-world, such as time and space, as we have been told. We are not physical beings! We are immortal (we can not be destroyed only transformed) and spaceless or "without form", if you prefer. This is what and who you are right here and now! An energetic being!

"Concering matter, we have been all wrong. What we have called matter is simply energy, whose vibration has been so lowered as to be perceptible to the senses. There is no matter"
-Albert Einstein
As Einstein saidmatter is just low-vibrating energy. Everything in the universe is vibrating right now to a certain frequency, measured in hertz (Hz), that is the speed to which something or someone is vibrating at. The higher the frequency the better our life will be. Energetically like attracts like, so if you have a very low vibration, due to negative thoughts or emotions, you will attract people, situations, circumstance that are a match to that vibration. If you want, for example, to be rich but your internal vibration says the opposite, maybe because you have a program in your mind that says "money is bad", you will never be rich no matter how hard you try. A good question to ask ourselves often could be "How is the quality of my thoughts? Are they really attracting the life I want to live?", same for our emotions and actions. You see you are the only creator and responsible of your life; life doesn't happen to you, even when "something bad happens", it's because we attracted that in our experience or because we have a lesson to remember.
Do you remember when, at school, you learned that matter composes the universe and that atoms are made up of, well, matter? That is not correct. In fact now we know that an atom is 99.99% empty space. How is this possible? Why when we sit on a chair we don't fall through it? Electrons can't exist at the same time in the same quantum state. When they get close to each other, past a certain limit, they begin to push each other back. In other words, the molecules that make up matter can't be pushed one against the other, because the electrons of each molecule can not exist in the same state of those of the other molecule. Answer is because we are not touching the chair at all! We are levitating on an electrostatic field! The quantum forces of the various molecules make us perceive things as "solid". As I said reality is an illusion...
This is just the tip of the iceberg; scientists discovered what is called "vacuum". They measured that in a cubic centimeter of empty space there is infinite energy! Exactly, infinite! Now the scientific aspect it's important to me to understand what is going on spiritually on our planet, because the quantum aspect of reality is extremely connected with consciousness. Unfortunately we have a mainstream academic community, that refuses all that can not be measured or explained "scientifically". They tried to reduce the infinite to a finite value, a number. How? Multiplying the energy of a single Planck distance, the shortest length under which any concept of dimension loses any meaning, with that of the total number of Plank's distances in a cubic centimeter of space. The result was astounding! The resulting number was 10^93 grams per centimeter cube of space. In other words it exceeds the mass of the whole known universe! That's where we are right now, swimming in an unlimited ocean of energy. That is who you are! Do you remember? Everything is energy! We are made of this!
Now think for a moment what could you do if your consciousness would be able to control only a tiny bit of all this. No limitation! Yes! We forgot how to do this but no worries we are going to remember soon. This is what is happening while you are reading, the times we are living in are programmed to expand our awareness. Imagine where we would be as human race if we would invest our money and time to find out how to extrapolate this energy out of the space we occupy. No more wars for oil, no more oil, no pollution of air, water, soil and food, a completely different society and world. Vacuum energy has been proven by what is known as the "Casimir effect". For more on this check out his experiment.
If I ask you what an electron is, probably you would say that is a particle. This is a deceptive term. Quantum physics tells us that electrons are not physical objects (particles). In fact they have what is called "particle wave duality", according to the famous double slit experiment. Please watch the following video.

In fact they have what is called "particle wave duality", according to the famous double slit experiment. Please watch the following video.
Isn't this amazing? Quanta can behave as a wave (energy) or as a particle depending on the observer (consciousness). But what is the wave state? It's a probability field, while the "particle" state is a probability collapsed in a point of interaction. Quanta (electrons, photons) do not occupy a position in space and time or the third dimension, the physical world we are living in. They are a state of timeless, spaceless energy (everything, me and you included, is made of this). Again at the most fundamental level matter is just energy. Another characteristic of this bizarre world is quantum entanglement. If two particles interact with each other, at least one time, or if they are created at the same time, and you take one of them to the other side of the universe (any distance is ok) the two can communicate with each other instantly. Instantly! You do something to the first particle, the other responds immediately. They are connected. Since everything was (is) a singularity at the moment of the big bang, everything is still interconnected in a state of quantum entanglement. Space is just a construct that gives the illusion that there are separate objects. We live in a nonlocal universe, meaning that any point in space is equal to any other point. Why we don't experience this in our everyday life? Because we have been disconnected from reality! Truth is that you can interact with something that is to the other side of this galaxy because there is no "there" and "here". There is no distance! To me it's just a question of how fast we are vibrating, how much our awareness is expanded, how much we are connected to our extra sensory perceptions, which are all factors that allow us to perceive what happens under the surface of the macro-world, and yes, even to the other side of the galaxy! The very fact that our brain processes 400 billion of information every second but we are aware of only 2000 of them, tells us that there is much more to the world than what we are experiencing. Exactly 400 billion!
Another mind boggling experiment is the delayed choice quantum eraser experiment, based on a suggestion of the physicist John Wheeler. He asks us to picture a star that emits a photon in the direction of planet Earth. In the middle of it's path there is a galaxy. When the photon is traveling toward Earth we have the phenomenon called gravitational lens. As reported by Wikipedia "A gravitational lens refers to a distribution of matter (such as a cluster of galaxies) between a distant source and an observer, that is capable of bending the light from the source, as it travels towards the observer". This means that light has to bend around the galaxy so it has to take the left path or the right one. Let's say that we want to catch the photon, billions of years later, due to the distance of the star, through an appliance like the screen in the double slit experiment. The result would be an interference pattern, so the photon behaved like a wave and took both the ways. What happens if we decide to put two telescopes, one on each side of the galaxy to see which path the photon took? The act of observing causes the wave to collapse into a single possibility, the photon comes only from one side, and there wouldn't be an interference pattern. All this means that how we decide to measure now determines which way the photon took billions of years before! The present (future for the photon) changes what happened in the past. Present is not the result of the past and the future is not the result of the present. This was only a thought experiment but was confirmed in a laboratory as reported in the excerpt below by the Daily Mail and by other sources like the journal Nature Physics.
- Physicists studied helium atoms fired through 'grates' created by lasers
- They introduced a second laser grate after the atom passed through a first
- They found the introduction second grate determined whether the atom appeared as a particle or a wave when it passed through the first grate
- This suggests the future was influencing the atoms past, say researchers
Time doesn't exist as we think, it is not a linear progression and there is no difference between past, future because everything happens now. This is why you probably already heard "be here-now" "there is only now", "all things exist now" because it is so.
As reported by Digital Journal "And now scientists have proven that, what is happening to a particle now, isn't governed by what has happened to it in the past, but by what state it is in the future – effectively meaning that, at a subatomic level, time can go backwards".
Here we are at the crux of the matter: physicists now believe that what is called the unified field is what makes up the entire universe. A self-aware, self-conscious field of energy (really?!) that manifests itself as you, me, your mum, your dad, trees, animals, oceans, planets, stars, galaxies, and the universe. The separation is just an illusion, you are the unified field. You are your mum, your dad, your cat etc. You are the universe. You are infinite energy. As everyone and everything is. This energy, that is consciousness, that is you, and that, again, has no boundaries and makes up all that exists, is what we have labeled as God. How would you call something that has no boundaries, no limits, no time, that is all that exists and that is infinite energy/information? Isn't God omnipresent, all knowing? What we have been told about God as a human-like entity separate from us, up there in the sky, it is not true. You are what you are calling God. You are not aware fully of this but you will remember. The ascension process is what brings you back to your full and original consciousness. To me this is the bridge between quantum physics and consciousness, between spirituality and science. Even if the affirmation "IAM God" may sound crazy, it's time that we wake up to the fact that everything is connected, that our actions, words and thoughts have a consequence for us and for the world. It's time that we become profoundly touched by the fundamental truth that everything is One and that you are that One. Call it whatever you want, unified field, the singularity, all that exists, energy, God: they are just words; you are it, physically and spiritually. For more on this check out this amazing video.
A fundamental conclusion of the new physics also acknowledges that the observer creates the reality. As observers, we are personally involved with the creation of our own reality. Physicists are being forced to admit that the universe is a ‘mental’ construction. Pioneering physicist Sir James Jeans wrote: ‘The stream of knowledge is heading toward a non-mechanical reality; the universe begins to look more like a great thought than like a great machine. Mind no longer appears to be an accidental intruder into the realm of matter, we ought rather hail it as the creator and governor of the realm of matter. Get over it, and accept the inarguable conclusion. The universe is immaterial-mental and spiritual.'” –
R.C. Henry, Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Johns Hopkins University
As above, so below. As within, so without.
Wait, there is more crazy stuff! The interpretation of quantum physics closest to the truth, in my opinion, is the holographic theory. One of it's pioneers was the physicist David Bhom. First of all we need to understand what is an hologram. A single laser beam is divided in two beams, the first one bounces on an object, the second collides on the light of the first one. They create an interference pattern that is registered on an holographic film plate (right image).
I know, it doesn't look like an apple! When another laser is fired on the pellicle, then an holographic image of the apple will appear. The object would appear to be 3D, but it would have no solidity; in fact your hand would pass through it. Moreover if you cut a piece of holographic film plate, in that piece will be present the image of the entire pellicle, the registered object(s). Even when you cut it in hundreds of pieces each one of them will contain the original information/image. The whole in the part and the part in the whole. Holograms can create the illusion that things are localized where they are not. Sounds familiar?
In 1982 a team of physicists led by Alain Aspect director of the Centre National de la Recherché Scientifique performed the most important experiment of the 20th century. They discovered that electrons (like any subatomic particle) can communicate instantly with one another no matter the distance that separates them. In other words they proved the existence of quantum entanglement (one of the strongest scientifical evidence that supports the holographic principle). This means that: information is traveling faster than the light so Einstein was wrong, or the particles are nonlocally connected. The latter seems to be correct. According to Bhom this is the proof that our everyday life is an illusion and under this level of reality there is another level, that gives birth to what we see in our physical world, like an holographic film plate originates an hologram. This fundamental level is called "the implicate order" while the physical reality is the explicate order. Due to the dynamic nature of the universe he describes it as "holomovment".
Talking about locality is meaningless in a holographic universe: saying that each part of an holographic film plate contains the information registered on the whole it's just another way to say that the information is distributed nonlocally on it and this has been proven scientifically. Bhom said that we have in us the image of the whole universe, that we are the universe. Considering it as composed by parts it's pointless because everything is made of the uninterrupted "stuff" of the implicate order (like the unified field); for example an electron is not a "particle" but it's just an aspect of the holomovment that is revealing itself. We give it a name but it is the whole nevertheless. So on the level of the explicate order we have the illusion of separation (everything is nonlocally connected, distance doesn't exist) but on the deepest level everything is One. Another important consideration is that every single second we are floating in an ocean of waves: gamma light, X rays, radio waves, etc. that are interfering with each other. The resulting pattern is exactly what we see in the image above and this has without doubt holographic implications.
Recently a new study "provided some of the clearest evidence yet that our Universe could be just one big projection". Yoshifumi Hyakutake of Ibaraki University in Japan describes in one of his papers what should mathematically happen into a black hole and it's proprieties. The other explains what should result if there is another lower dimensional universe with no gravity; the two match suggesting that one could be an holographic projection of the other. This was reported into the journal Nature. Also the holographic principle can explain the inconsistencies between quantum physics and general relativity: this is the reason why they studied the behavior of black holes. Everything should being happening on the cosmological horizon in 2D and 3D should be just a projection, like the holograms on cards (on a 2D object appearing 3D). For example, have you noticed that we perceive our reality in 2D? We have only the illusion of 3D! When you look at a building you can't see the entire structure, the 3D object but only a face of it. You are looking at your monitor now, but you can't see behind it, it's back, you can't see it in it's entirety.
A very close scientist to Bhom's ideas was Karl Pribram, neurosurgeon, professor at Georgetown University, an emeritus professor of psychology and psychiatry at Stanford University. He worked with the neuropsychologist Karl Lashley and in a series of experiments led on rats trained to move into a labyrinth, they found that memories are not stored in a specific area of the brain as commonly accepted. When they removed ample portions of the rats's brain, more specifically the areas involved in storing the memories of the labyrinth, the animals were still able to traverse the route. This led Pribram to believe that the memories are distributed on the entire brain surface not in a specific location. One day in the sixties he was reading an article about holograms in the journal Scientific American.
He started to believe that if any part of the brain can remember a specific memory, like every portion of holographic film plate contains the whole, than maybe the brain is using holographic principles. Other experiments showed that when Pribram removed up to 90% of the visual cortex in rats's brain, they were still capable to handle tasks that required complex visual abilities, same for the cats (98% of a cat's optical nerves were cutted). The dominant theory at that time suggested that there is a correspondence 1 to 1 between what we are observing and the electric activity of the brain meaning that if we are looking at a square than our electric activity has the shape of a square. Researches on monkeys proved that there is no 1 to 1 correspondence. Pribram believed that if the brain uses an internal hologram to see, then even a small part of it can reconstruct the whole image of the eyes and this could also explain the lack of correspondence and the results of his experiments; indeed if the brain behaves like an hologram, there should be no match between the electrical activity and what is being observed like there is no match between the holographic film plate and the hologram itself (the apple).
What is the phenomenon that is happening into the brain and that is similar to the waves? Neurons have ramifications and through them are able to communicate between each other. The informations are electric in nature and when they arrive to the end of those ramifications, they radiate out like waves. This creates an infinite series of interference patterns (like those in the image of the holographic film plate) which are the base of the holographic proprieties of the brain. Even the extraordinary capacity of storing informations in a very reduced space is explained by this theory. The physicist John Von Neumann calculated that a human brain stores 2.8 x 10^20 portions of information (280 000 000 000 000 000 000) during our life. Guess what? Same for the holograms! In 1 inch of holographic film plate we can record an amount of informations equals to 50 bibles! Transfer of skills acquired, associative memory and more are easilyexplained using Pribram's vision.
Paul Pietsch of the Indiana University, thought that if the alimentation behavior of the salamanders is not limited to a single area of the brain, then how the organ is positioned has no importance. He inverted the left and the right hemisphere but after a while the salamanders continued to eat. In a series of 700 experiments he cutted, turned upside down, mixed (and more) the brains of his unfortunate animals but they always started to eat again after the surgeries. This gives more experimental evidences to Pribram.
Together, the work of these scientists, can teach us that our brains are able to interpret frequencies that are a projection of another dimension, the implicate order, beyond time and space. What exists "out there" is an ocean of waves, and reality appears to be concrete because our brains are able to transform those waves into the elements that make up our world. The brain is an hologram into an holographic universe. To know more about this read "The holographic universe" written by Michael Talbot. This data was taken from his book.
