DAILY AFFIRMATIONS: CHANGE.

This is the first of a series of posts about daily affirmations. They are a great tool to put yourself on the right vibration when you are facing challenges in life or when you are going to start your day. Let's begin with one of the most beautiful and useful thing for our life: change! It is something that scares us but if we allow ourselves to change for the better, we can achieve a lot in life.

I AM open to change. I allow myself to change. Change is improvement. Of myself and my life. Change is good.
I AM open to the unknown. There is nothing to fear in the unknown. I step into the unknown because there lies the best of me.  I AM open to my Highest and "unknown" Self.

As you read this you can notice if you feel like you are lying at yourself. Affirmations are tricky; if we don't feel them as true, if we don't speak them with confidence, if we don't really mean what we say, we only obtain the opposite of what we are affirming because our focus is completely absorbed by the absence of what we are affirming. Therefore the affirmation makes us more aware of what we don't have. For example if we say "I am loved" and we don't believe in that, we end up being more aware that there is no one that loves us, because we are convinced of that, and affirming the opposite reinforces our belief. For this reason affirmations are useful to spot blockages we may have.


In this case, if you feel resistance when you read this words, or if you don't agree, it means that you are not very open to change, so you may want to work on that. Change is the only constant in life. Impermanence is the nature of this reality; nothing remains the same forever. So if we are in resistance toward change we are in resistance toward life itself.
